Grŵp Cynefin Released from Voluntary Undertaking

Grŵp Cynefin has welcomed confirmation from the Welsh Government that it has been released from its Voluntary Undertaking.  

This was entered into in 2023 following Grŵp Cynefin referring itself to the housing regulator regarding data compliance issues. 

The decision reflects the significant progress to strengthen governance, assurance, compliance, asset management and financial planning arrangements.  

Throughout the process, Grŵp Cynefin worked closely with the Regulator and undertook a comprehensive programme of improvement designed to address the issues identified and strengthen the organisation for the future.

“We are really pleased to confirm that Grŵp Cynefin has been released from its Voluntary Undertaking by the Regulator. This is an important milestone for the organisation, reflecting progress made over the last three years.

Grŵp Cynefin will continue to focus on delivering high-quality homes and services, investing in communities and ensuring tenants and customers remain at the heart of everything it does.
