Grŵp Cynefin colleagues appointed to TPAS Cymru Board
TPAS Cymru has announced new members to its Management Board, which includes Ruth Yarwood (pictured), a Grŵp Cynefin tenant representative, and Nerys Price-Jones, Director of People and Culture.
TPAS Cymru promotes tenant participation and supports tenants and social landlords across Wales to work together to improve housing services.
The appointments recognise Nerys and Ruth’s experience, expertise and commitment to championing tenant voices and strengthening participation across the housing sector in Wales. As Board Members, Ruth and Nerys will support TPAS Cymru’s mission to ensure tenants remain at the heart of decision-making and service improvement.

Nerys Price-Jones said:
“I’m delighted to be joining the TPAS Cymru Board. Tenant engagement is at the heart of everything we do at Grŵp Cynefin, and I’m looking forward to working with colleagues from across Wales. Together we can ensure that tenants have a strong voice in shaping services, policies and communities.”
As Director of People and Culture, Nerys leads a broad directorate that includes tenant engagement, communications, community work and equality, diversity and inclusion. She brings extensive experience in leadership, governance and community engagement.
Ruth Yarwood said:
“I’m honoured to join the TPAS Cymru Board and I’m looking forward to the opportunity to contribute to this important work. I have lived experience and a passion for making sure people’s voices are heard. I hope to help make sure that we engage with tenants in different ways to make sure we take everyone’s views into account and reach them in ways that suit them, across all the diverse communities.”
Ruth is an active member of Grŵp Cynefin’s Tenants Committee and a passionate advocate for tenant engagement. Alongside her role as a Health Check Champion with Conwy Link for Learning Disabilities, she is a strong supporter of disability rights and brings valuable living experience, insight and commitment to inclusion and community representation.
The appointments reflect Grŵp Cynefin’s commitment to engaging tenants in a meaningful way and ensuring that the people who use services play a part in shaping them. Together, Ruth and Nerys bring a combination of lived experience, professional expertise and a commitment to strengthening tenant engagement.
