Good Neighbourhood Management Policy

We are at an exciting stage of launching a new policy– Good Neighbourhood Management Policy.

Tenant representatives have worked with staff over the last year to co-design this policy. The policy was created following a Housing Ombudsman Spotlight report – ‘Time to be Heard’ – which wanted to outline that not all behaviour or actions were ‘anti social’.

The policy aims to empower you to have a conversation with neighbours when something’s worrying you.

Good Neighbourhood Management Toolkit

We can’t expect you to deal with issues that worry you without giving you the tools to help – so we’ve created a toolkit for tenants to use and refer to when there’s something you need to raise with your neighbour – but can’t be classed as anti social behaviour. You can download the toolkit on this page

‘Dear Neighbour’ Card

There is also a ‘Dear Neighbour’ Card – if you can’t speak to someone – write on it and hand over, or post through letter box.

For a copy of the policy, please contact your Housing Officer.
