Anti-Social Behaviour
The beginning of July was Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) Week, an opportunity to say exactly what anti-social behavior is, what is not considered ASB, and what to do if you experience problems in your community.
Anti-social behaviour can have a big impact on people’s everyday lives, making them feel unsafe in their homes or in their local area. That’s why it’s important to know what anti-social behaviour is and report any concerns as soon as possible.
Anti-social behaviour can be:
- Serious and continuous noise nuisance
- Vandalism and graffiti
- Threatening or intimidating behaviour
- Verbal abuse
- Racial harassment
In simple terms, if it’s causing fear or disturbing someone, it may be anti-social behaviour.
If you have seen or experienced anti-social behaviour in your community, please contact us. By reporting problems early, we can work with you to resolve them and create safer communities for everyone.
