Successful roadshow to launch our Good Neighbourhood Policy
Earlier this month, staff and board members hit the road for the first Grŵp Cynefin Roadshow of the year!
The event was a huge success, and it was fantastic to get out into our communities to launch our new Good Neighbourhood Policy and Toolkit — a key step in creating safer, stronger, and more connected neighbourhoods.
With the sun shining, we travelled across north Wales over four days visiting estates in Anglesey, Gwynedd, Wrexham, Denbighshire and Conwy.
Here’s a snapshot of what we achieved together
- 🏘️ Visited 24 estates
- 📦 349 information packs delivered
- 📝 96 tenants completed our questionnaire
- 📇 75 tenants’ contact details checked and updated
- 🤝 18 referrals made to our Welfare Team
- 🔌 15 referrals to our Energy Wardens
- 💻 6 tenants referred for Digital Support
- 💼 4 referrals for Employment and Training Support
- ❄️ 9 Warm Packs distributed to those in need
But that’s not all — we were thrilled to see so many tenants eager to get involved and get their voices heard:
- 👥 22 new tenants expressed interest in helping with recruitment
- 📣 21 tenants signed up to join our new Complaints and Satisfaction Group
Listening to you is at the heart of everything we do. The roadshow gives us a unique opportunity to meet you face-to-face, hear your stories, and understand what matters most to you. These conversations help us build trust, shape better services, and ensure your voice remains central to our work.
We’re also proud to share that Grŵp Cynefin has been nominated for a TPAS Cymru Good Practice Award for our 2024 Cost of Living Roadshows! The awards ceremony takes place in Cardiff on 25th June 2025. A huge congratulations to our Community Initiatives Team for their dedication and the strong relationships they’ve built across our communities.
