Self Evaluation

Grŵp Cynefin’s Corporate Plan 2019-24

The corporate plan explains the type of organisation we want to be, and has set priorities for implementation over a period of 5 years. You can download a copy of Grŵp Cynefin’s summary of the Corporate Plan 2019-24 here

These priorities are called ‘strategic aims’, and Grŵp Cynefin’s strategic aims include:

1. Quality Homes: We shall provide high-quality affordable homes that meet local needs

2. Excellent Services: We shall provide excellent customer service consistently across the group

3. Improve Lives: We shall provide help and opportunities for people

4. Sustain Communities: We shall engage with local communities and we shall be a catalyst for positive change

Corporate Plan 2019-2024

Grŵp Cynefin is a Registered Social Landlord, and this means that we are regulated by the Welsh Government Regulatory Team.

The Welsh Government has issued guidance that sets out the objectives that each Housing Association is expected to provide, which relates to housing services, governance and financial management.

Every year, as part of the Regulatory process, Grŵp Cynefin conducts a self-evaluation of our activities to show how we meet the relevant guidelines. This self-evaluation is then shared with the Welsh Government’s Housing Regulation Team, who challenges the content and looks back over the year on our achievements. The results forms a report published by the Welsh Government.
