Developments

A number of new housing developments by Grŵp Cynefin are progressing well, providing high quality affordable homes to meet the needs of local communities across north Wales.

Aberdaron 

In partnership between Grŵp Cynefin and Cyngor Gwynedd, with the support of Welsh Government grants, construction work in Aberdaron is progressing well. The development will provide six social rented homes and two intermediate rented homes. The homes are expected to be completed and ready for tenants by the end of the year.  

Betws-y-Coed  

This plan is being developed in partnership with Conwy County Borough Council, Snowdonia National Park, the Welsh Government and Grŵp Cynefin. The site will include five new homes on a mix of social rent and intermediate rent. The homes are expected to be ready for tenants to move in autumn 2026.  

Trefor  

This development is a partnership between Grŵp Cynefin and Cyngor Gwynedd, with the support of Welsh Government grants. The site will include 12 social rented homes and three intermediate rented homes, ready for tenants to move in by summer 2027.
