Grŵp Cynefin has a housing maintenance service. We wish to keep our houses in a good, safe and secure condition, and in pleasant communities.


Changes to our Repairs Service 25.05.2021

In accordance with the Welsh Government’s guidelines, we are continuing to expand the range of repair work we are undertaking.

This means that we are doing most repair work where infection risk can be managed, however, the work is taking longer than usual at this time and we ask you to remain patient.

We have delayed attending to a number of non-urgent repairs over lockdown to manage risk, however most of the requests have now been released.

If you have delayed making a Reactive Repair request during lockdown, please contact us now and our team will explain what the next steps will be.

To protect our tenants, we will also be continuing with a full Servicing and Inspection programme, so please help us to keep you safe by allowing us access to your home to carry out this important work.

The safety of our tenants, staff and contractors is Grŵp Cynefin’s main priority and we appreciate your continued support and understanding during this time. Thank you

Following the Welsh Government’s guidelines, Grŵp Cynefin will now be carrying out Repair and Maintenance work as follows:

* Reactive repairs consistent with the past 6 months (i.e. emergency and other subject to risk assessment / officer discretion)

* Full Servicing and Inspection Programme together with remedial works as required

* All re-let and void property work

* Renewal work to property exterior and outside areas

* NO interior renewal work

* NO doors and windows replacement work.

We will review our position during the week starting 4th January, and update further.

In accordance with Welsh Government advice, please consider whether the work can be safely deferred until after alert Level 4 restrictions are lifted. Thank you.

Emergency Service
We have an emergency out of office hours service. It operates between 5pm and 8.30am, and at weekends and Bank Holidays. You can access the on-call service by calling 0300 111 2122.

Tenants are responsible for insuring the contents of their home. Grŵp Cynefin will insure the building.
