As the summer approaches it will be time again to start mowing the lawns and watering the flower beds – why not get recognition for all this hard work and enter our gardening competition?
Prizes are available for winners. These are the 5 categories:
BEST VEGETABLE PATCH / ALLOTMENT
If your vegetable patch / allotment is growing the seeds of success and you are enjoying the fruits of labour, this is your chance to blossom!
BEST KEPT GARDEN
For anyone with a private garden no matter how big or small.
BEST KEPT ESTATE
Do you feel your estate deserves some recognition for all the hard work you all put into your gardens?
POTS AND BASKETS
This category if for anyone who doesn’t have a garden but has decorated the outside of their flat with hanging baskets, flower tubs etc. and making the most of what little space you have.
Largest Sunflower competition for primary school children.
We will notify you as to when the judges will be out and about on the estates and the winners will be announced soon after.
To enter you will need to complete an entry form which can be obtained from the Community Initiatives Team on 0300 111 2122, or downloaded below.

A new savings scheme which gives up to a £1,200 bonus to people on low incomes has been launched The Government's Help to Save initiative, which is available to working people on tax credits and universal credit, rewards savers with an extra 50p for every £1 saved.

The Welsh Government has recently reviewed the regulatory arrangements and has created a tool to enable tenants, service users, stakeholders and partners to access performance data.
