We understand the problems of getting by on a limited budget, and our staff are ready and available to help you sort things out. If you are able to pay off what you owe all at once that’s ideal, however if you are not able to do this we can work out a regular payment plan with you for you to pay off the arrears in regular amounts that you can afford. We can also check your entitlements to ensure you are getting the benefits you are eligible to receive, alternatively use the online benefit calculator provided by our partners Turn2us to check for yourself, this is a free and impartial service.
But you need to move fast, because if you don’t tell us you have a problem or if you don’t keep to an arrangement to pay off the debt, we will take legal action and that could result in a County Court judgement against you or even worse the loss of your home.

In Anglesey and Gwynedd we employ our own specialist. Both advisers can contact the companies you owe; banks, catalogue, loan companies, door step collectors and so on, and should be able to arrange for you to make smaller payments until you are back on top of things.
