Repairs: Read more here.
Adaptations: We continue to carry out urgent adaptations that allow people to remain safe in their homes and prevent hospital admissions where it is safe to do so.
Statutory Servicing: We continue to carry out statutory servicing works including the testing of fire alarms and cleaning in buildings with communal areas, and annual gas services where there is a statutory requirement to do so.
Our Offices: Our offices remain closed until further notice, with the majority of staff now working from home and available by phone or email. We continue to provide support in the community with staff based at our Extra Care and Supported Housing schemes.
Contacting Us: You can continue to contact us on 0300 111 2122. You can also contact us by email on post@grwpcynefin.org, sending us a direct message on our Facebook or Twitter pages, or by using the Live Chat facility on the website.
Supporting your Tenancy
We will keep you safe and secure in your home. No one will be evicted from a Grŵp Cynefin home as a result of financial hardship caused by COVID-19.
We will help you get the financial support you need. Our Welfare Team are here to help you access welfare schemes to alleviate financial hardship.
We are here to support you and find solutions if you have difficulty paying your rent. We will work with you to understand how we can best help you manage your tenancy.
We will do everything we can to support your wellbeing. Please contact us if you require any additional support and we will do our very best to assist you either ourselves or through a network of partner agencies.
Staying Safe at Home
We urge everyone to stay at home where they can to protect the NHS and save lives.
If you are a tenant and are currently sheilding due to underlying health conditions, we ask that you let us know so that we can offer tailored support and put you in touch with partner agencies who can offer support with activities such as shopping.
For victims of domestic abuse, self-isolation could increase domestic tensions as well as remove opportunities for respite, such as work or the school run. For support, call the 24 hour Live Fear Free Wales helpline on 0808 80 10800. If you are in immediate danger, but too scared to speak, you can call 999 and then press 55 when asked to do so, this will let the Police know that it is a genuine emergency.
We know antisocial behaviour can have a huge impact on our customers’ lives and we will continue to support anyone who has concerns about antisocial behaviour during the coronavirus pandemic. Read more about the support available here.
