Board of Management

The Board of Management is ultimately responsible for all aspects of the Association’s activities and shall direct the affairs of the Association in accordance with its objects and rules.


Members of the Board of Management

Dafydd Lewis (Chair)

A former corporate director for housing and social care in Gwynedd Council, he lives in Dolgellau.

Carys Edwards (Vice Chair)

The former head of adult services with Isle of Anglesey Council, Carys lives in Y Parc, near Bala.

Chris Schoen (Chair of Customers and Communities Committee)

Before retiring, Chris worked in an administrative position at Ysbyty Gwynedd. A Grŵp Cynefin tenant from Penygroes.

Julia Hughes (Chair of Audit & Risk Committee)

A former director of adult and community learning at Coleg Llandrillo, Julia lives in Llangwyfan near Denbigh.

John Arthur Jones

A retired bank official from Llanrwst.

Bob Jones

A Grŵp Cynefin tenant from Trefnant, Bob is a specialist trainer in the care sector and catering & hospitality sector.

Nia Hughes

Former Assistant Finance Director with Muir Group Housing Association. Now works for MoneySuperMarket. She lives in Chester.

Llinos Iorwerth

Owner of ATEB Cymru and former Head of Communications with Cartrefi Cymunedol Gwynedd. Llinos lives in Llangristiolus, Anglesey.

Elen Llwyd Williams

Executive Director with the economic development company Menter a Busnes She lives in Porthmadog, Gwynedd.

Sharon Warnes

Former Assistant Strategic Director with Gwynedd Council, Sharon lives in Llangybi near Pwllheli

Clifton Robinson Clifton was formerly Chair of the North Wales Probation Board, a housing association director, a board member for 9 years at Cartrefi Conwy and, before his retirement in 2016, Chief Executive of Housing Diversity Network - an equalities training and mentoring social enterprise with a membership of over 100 housing associations spread across England.
